I work on Strathmore Imperial 500 or Fabriano Artistico 100% cotton paper using Holbein professional colors. Some paintings are plein-air, and many are done in the studio working from plein-air sketches. I tend to not work to standard aspect ratios and generally prefer horizontal - panorama proportions.
